Following a career in teaching spanning 20 years, Jill decided to train as an acupuncturist after having received treatment herself for a chronic condition.
In 2013 Jill qualified with a Postgraduate Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture from the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. She is a certified practitioner of Traditional Acupuncture and a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
As a BAcC registered acupuncturist she takes part in regular Continued Professional Development. This has enabled her to develop additional skills in the use of Gua Sha, auriculotherapy, scalp acupuncture, moxibustion and facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
Jill has also completed a VTCT accredited diploma in Reflexology and is a member of the Association of Reflexologists.
Jill’s areas of special interest are pain management and supporting patients with chronic degenerative conditions.
